We all have our favorite morning brew, whether it be a coffee, black, or a lovely smooth tea. What any tea and coffee drinkers are most probably not aware of is that their choice of morning libation tells a lot about their personality. <\/p>\n\n

Which side are you on? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

While tea and coffee couldn’t be any more different, they are an integral part of our daily lives. Two thousand Americans were examined in a new poll that aimed to correlate personality types with the primary data being that of whether the participant’s morning cuppa contained coffee or tea. Everyone knows that to stay ahead in today’s world, the earlier you are up and going, the better. As a result, 75 percent of those individuals surveyed confirmed that they typically have their first cuppa by no later than 8 am. The tea vs. coffee wars are real, y’all. <\/strong>Sure, they both contain caffeine, but coffee devotees will swear hands-down that people who sip only tea are pretty much aliens, right? <\/em>Meanwhile, tea guzzlers preach that the health benefits of tea are just so much better<\/em>. But when it comes to tea vs. coffee, is one better for you?<\/em><\/strong>Here’s the good news: tea and coffee are both pretty healthy (especially at their simplest forms, sans added sugar or flavorings). “There is more existing research on tea, but we’ve been finding out a lot on coffee too,” says Jess Cording, R.D.“I think they both can be part of a healthy diet if you feel well when you drink them.”Still, there are some health benefits and downsides specific to each bevvie that you should probably note. <\/p>\n\n

As you can see, the battle has only just begun! Both drinks have their own unique benefits and flavor profiles. But no matter what side you’re on, we want to make sure you continue to enjoy your morning coffee or meditative tea session.
